Shahin Babin studied under Paul Landry, now retired, former director at Gardner Goju-Kai since 1996. He transferred to Spencer Goju-Kai in 2013 and studied under Steven Chalmers. As of November 26, 2016, Shihan Babin was granted Director of Athol Goju-Kai, representing the National Headquarters of Goju-Kain Karate-Do, USA.
